Getting started on your Android tablet is easier than you may think. This topic shows you how to use Home screen and apps.
Start activityThis is the main view of your tablet, referred to as the Home screen.
On this screen, you will see all of the programs (also known as Apps) you have installed on your tablet.
Most tablets come with the following apps already installed.
Phone: If your Android tablet supports the use of mobile networks with a SIM card, you may be able to make and receive calls as you would on a mobile phone. Look for the phone icon to see if your tablet supports this feature.
Messages: For sending text and picture messages to friends and family.
Camera: Used for taking photos and videos.
Mail: For reading and sending emails.
Internet: For browsing the internet.
Weather: To check today's weather and the weekly forecast.
If all of your apps do not fit on one screen, your tablet will create another page automatically.
To see other pages, swipe your finger left or right on the screen.
